The Fourth graders present their Street Dance moves! The fourth graders are popping, locking and showing their street dance moves. They are learning dance, dance games, choreographic moves, history and dance terminology.
Ms. Elmedina, the fourth grade teacher shared that in the street dance class they meet once a week with Dancing in the Streets' artist dance teacher Qu with Showtime NYC where he teaches them choreographed dance moves from freestyle dance, hip hop, lite feet to other dance forms. At the end of each class they have an opportunity to show off their moves and express themselves in the dance circle.
